I'm making the oddest expression right now... but found you on dyke androgyny. The only reasons i decided to explore your profile is because your face seemed familiar...

took me a second but, as the steady smirk on my face reveals, i remembered. Had a random conversation with you in a PNO years ago. I think you were making some sarcastic remark about my age as i complimented your dog.

Anyway, you made me semi smile in the midst of a bad two days which makes me want to add you to my friends list.. something in your presentation interests me. you should add me as well if you could use a new friend.

well, once you get a look at my journal, i'm not sure you're going to agree with your assessment of me being not so negative. i'm pretty cynical. and also, with the election, i haven't exactly been myself lately (read, i morphed into a political junkie).

i think i know what you mean, though. i know i don't always do such a good job with this but it really brings me down reading journal after journal written by people who like to talk about nothing much more than how much their life sucks. i get that journals tend to be ranty sorts of places, but i like to try, as much as i can, to rise above that and put the same sorts of thing out there that i would enjoy reading.
