The internship at Bicycling is going well. I have more duties as an intern than most editorial assistants do at other magazines. I come home every night feeling exhausted, though. I had my first bike race ever this weekend. It was at Penn State, and I was in the women's B category. My goal was to finish the course - and I did finish. Yay that! I haven't updated in a week even though I've done things most days since the last time I wrote. I think I'm done chronicling every single thing I do. Well, I can tell that summer is coming to a close when suddenly it seems to be dark out MUCH sooner than I'm used to. Because of that, I had to make sure to be back before 8:30 tonight. I mountain biked this morning, but unfortunately did not feel very well while doing so. As soon as I got on my bike, my legs were tired and saying "No Christine! Tuesday: off. I had stomach problems all evening, and it was literally 100 degrees out anyway.

Yesterday: Half-hour run at the gym, abs, and bench press. I've been lazy about lifting lately. I don't think lifting matters as much at this point as trying to build up my endurance, anyway.

I'm tired today and I feel like I could go back to bed. Yuck

If I do anything active today, it will definitely be at the air-conditioned YMCA.  The heat index in Syracuse is currently 109 and rising... wtf.
