i only wanted more than i knew

when i got to work today at 11, there was a mass sea of black women floating around the store. of course, terry mcmillan was due in at 3 p.m. to sign her new book, "the interruption of everything". so far it's gotten great reviews, and she's one of the most famous african-american authors to enter the fiction genre.
