Personally, i can't see them ever getting this close to 'Normal' but i did enjoy the ride, as you do their voices so well.

That being said, my favourite exchange in all of this was what passed for the proposal - particularly these lines :

There’s flowers and candles and a white tablecloth. “Oh, God,” she says. Nothing good has ever come of Castle and white tablecloths.

“Hey,” he says softly, stepping out of the kitchen.

“Please tell me this is about getting me to do something really kinky in bed.”

I don't think this would ever happen on the teevee, and it is not even really what I'd want to have happen, but, well, I don't know, this came out of my anyways.

Oh my god. I LOVE this. See, I have this thing where I adore well-written kidfic and I love how you manage to make them do the marriage-babies-happy ending that so many stories push towards without making them any less them or any less interesting. It gives me hope for the show, in a ridiculous way, and for TV in general. THIS, THIS is what I want to see when I say I wish more people would get together in popular culture. I wish more people would have funny interesting relationships and have children and not lose their personalities entirely.

Oh THANK YOU. I am preening over all the nice things you said! I didn't really necessarily intend to write the "Casstlez and Becksie get married and have BBs!!!" fic, because, I don't know, I know nothing of any of this and I really don't think the show would ever go this far in this direction, but, well, somehow this came out of me.
