This is beautiful. Gorgeously written and quite hard to read due to its emotional crunch. The idea of Castle sleeping in his car and Beckett knowing he was there, but lacking the impetus to do anything about it? So sad.

Thanks for writing. I wonder how many parts you might be intending, or whether we are left to think that Castle reveals his 'secret' at this point.

Oh thank you! I am, um, not sure about that whole "how many parts or is this really just a one shot" thing yet? I will try to figure myself out soon though I SWEAR.

Oh, thank you! I think my muse is finally feeling a little glutted on angst, and so we are currently doing something a little less Doom & Gloom, just, you know, so I don't always want to stab myself in the eyeballs.

I can't tell you how much this rock and how much I love your writing - I feel like this story might live up to 'like midnight' - I sincerely hope there's more chapters with more angst. Awesome. Thanks for posting, it's awesome..
