Oh thank you! It am glad you thought it was funny and sexy! And I might have been projecting onto Castle a little, but seriously, I shudder when I think of people dog-earing books, like, why would you DO that.

Ok- the entire thing? Fantastic. They SOUNDED like they were supposed to, and...well...

Can't forget my favorite parts, of course:

Agent Manatee has been struck by a speedboat.

Hahahaha!!! Seriously, not that the manatees and speedboats thing itself is hysterical, but...leave it to Castle and Ryan (I strongly suspect more Castle) to come up with that. Really. Not 'Batman and Robin' or something superhero related, but 'Agent Manatee'. Gives me a mental image of manatees and fedoras. Or Castle in a fedora. Rawr.

And

“You two just do this for fun now?” Esposito asks, lowering his gun.

Absolutely sounds just like Espo. To a T.

Oh- and the post-its fluttering on the breeze? Great mental picture there, thanks to your great description.

Loved it!

Thank you! I do not know WHY I decided that Castle would have a distress code that would have to do with manatees and speedboats (ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THAT IS A SAD THING AND WHAT KIND OF A MONSTER AM I), but once I decided it, it was there.

Glad you liked the post-its, too!

Really, really awesome! I love Beckett's sass, even more so when tempered by her moments of understanding. And also the way Castle's taken by surprise by everything Beckett does. And of course Esposito rocks! This is so brilliant. Thank you for sharing this.

Oh thank you! I'm glad I appropriately captured Beckett's sass -- it's one of my (very, very many) favorite parts of her!

Well how lovely was that? Incredibly lovely! Very believable tone between the two of them, nice dialogue, and still nookie. Well done.

I'm glad you liked it and thought it was believable, especially considering the semi-ridiculous situation :)
