Ok to tell you the truth , I never cared for it either. I had it when I was much younger. Hmmm I guess the last time I has the stuff was when I was like 9 or 10!!
Ohhh and thanks for the tidbit of historical information that Spam played during WW2.
At the New York state fair, which started 8/24 and runs through Labor Day, there is a gigantic SPAM truck. It sits at the back end of a large commons park thing with a huge stage where the "free" acts perform (today was Tesla, yesterday was Billy Ray Cyrus--in coming days are Charo, Joat Jett, and the 4 tops and Sha-Na-Na rock-n-roll party)--ok so what I think is hilarious is that the SPAM truck has items for sale and everything, ok-like who wants to carry cans of spam around the fair and who wants to buy it at the fair, when it's easily available at any area grocery store? Also, it's right next to a large family restroom building. HAHA That makes me laugh.
not as much as I used to. I'll have a spam musubi maybe once a month. I also like to fry up spam in strips and cook it with cabbage over hot rice. Yum!

Mom use to put it in Mac and Cheese with peas
I hated that
It is rather popular in the Pacific Islands and it helped to save the Russians during WW2.
