After having lived here for just over a year now (i know! Can you believe it's been that long already?), we are finally moving forward with the rear garden! I've spent months debating whether we could manage any of it ourselves, or if we'd need to save squillions of dollars to pay someone else to do it all ( Read more... )

I'm impressed Kerri and George. Fantastic job! No only did you save money doing some of the work yourself, just think you also saved the environment. Meaning you had no workmen turn up, using their cars - then petrol - carbon emissions. No workmen = no pollution. Great job. Will look forward to seeing it sometime.

The wall looks fabulous ... want to do ours? Our back garden still looks like a bomb has hit it :(

Can't wait to see what your decking looks like, I like the idea of the tree growing up through it as a natural sun shade.

Ah...good ol' woodland grey :o)

I have to do some fast thinking about what to do for our front yard, we have 3 months and then we have to make it look spiffy or they bring the "heavies" in (not sure how heavy but cos we signed a "streetscape" contract we can be fined!!) Ohhhhhhhh the joys of estates!!

You've done a mucho fabuloso job there....be very proud and treat yourselves to a hot, steamy bath (that'll last and last and last ;o))

Just showed H the pics of your garden. He said that you should have painted the wall green, so you would have had a huge green screen for film making. Oh dear, see what I live with. ;-)
