OK, so apparently there are some people who are not familiar with the strange pink creature in my LJ icon.

That, ladies and germs, is a sea monkey.

Now, apparently, some people did not know this.  Thus some LJ users who do not know me personally assumed, based on the rather pinkish color of the aforementioned icon, that I am a girl.
