Firstly and most importantly, happy birthday to the gorgeous
eileenyx!
Secondly and considerably less importantly, I've been feeling a little sorry for myself over the past week or so because I'm annoying like that. So, inspired by the ever lovely
malinowy (♥), I thought I'd remind myself of some of the little reasons why I should pipe down and cheer up.

Ohh, old Backstreet Boys songs. Is there anything better? (Probably, but let's leave that question rhetorical.) Forty-seven points for you! (It would have been fifty, but my parents have played so much ABBA over the past two years that the mere mention of their name makes me shudder.)

So, from one Danny fan to another...
Happy Birthday :)

Sigh. It's like life is mocking him/LFC. Hopefully, good news tomorrow with the court decision? Fingers crossed.

And dude! No need to be embarassed about fangirling over Danny! I just named my new hamster Dagger! lolol!

I'm glad to see Harry Kewell back too! I've always had a soft spot for him, even waaaaay before his Liverpool days when he was struggling through with Leeds, lol.
What's making me smile? Well, first and foremost, Danny Agger always makes me smile. I just have to look at his stupid, adorable face and I start grinning like a maniac. Nando's book makes me smile whenever I dip into it and read a chapter or two; the most adorable autobiography known to man! Merlin is my TV highlight of the week, everytime I see Merlin and Arthur's stupid faces I just melt inside. Also, having a week off work this week is great.
But the thing that'll make me smile most is if by the end of court session today, H&G are out. I'd have such a huge grin on my face and it wouldn't be wiped off for days (only on Sunday if we failed to win the derby, lol).

Aw, it's so nice to hear that you have a soft spot for Harry. He's one of the reasons why I got into football in the first place, and it kills me that some people give him so much stick because he's injury-prone - as though he does it deliberately! He's a wonderful person and a great footballer, particularly for my beloved national team.
Oh, that's such a coincidence, because I was flicking through Fernando's autobiography last night (so fifty points for you)! It stopped me from writing my papers! You're right, it is such a great read. He makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I feel so lucky that he came to our club, and that he really gets it. He's got a good head on his shoulders ( ... )

I work at WHSmith (a stationery/books/newsagents chain shop). It's tiring work but there's fun moments, lol. Plus I work on the book section and always make sure Nando's books and Liverpool books in general, are most prominent in the football section (amusing in a Manchester based shop, lol).
It was good news! Omg so happy! Not smiled so hard in a long time :D

Oh, that's awesome that your store sells Liverpool books! I had to order both Stevie and Fernando's autobiographies online because I couldn't find them here - the main bookstore in the city stocked about three copies and they sold out in two seconds.
So, since you wrote that comment, we've had a restraining order and now a 4pm deadline to withdraw it! What chaos. I feel sorry for the LFC/RBS people involved. They must be so stressed.
