This totally ended up angsty. Hope you still enjoy it though

Adam stood in the corner and watched as Michael charmed a man sitting at a table near the stage. He clenched his fists when the man started to flirt back.

"Adam," said Dean, startling him. He stood next to the younger man and watched Michael interact with the man.

"Dean," greeted Adam. He briefly smiled at his brother before looking back at Michael.

"You're not going to get him just standing here," said Dean.

"It doesn't matter. He doesn't even notice me, it's just fantasies." Adam looked down and relaxed his hands. "What can a struggling medical student offer Michael, the jewel of the Moulin Rouge?" The sarcasm intermixed with sorrow
