TV stuff
I was reading this piece, among many, about the upcoming season 2 of Hawaii Five-0, and I'm both excited and filled with dread at the prospect.
By and large I loved season one -- there were a few things (particularly the finale) that annoyed the crap out of me, but nothing is ever perfect. However, the buzz surrounding the new season makes me ( Read more... ) -

Home again, home again...
Just got home from a lovely weekend in Milton Keynes at the UK Meet. How wonderful it was to meet people I've been talking to online for years, and to meet lots of others I've only read before.
Also got to meet Claire, ther owner of Total-e-bound -- she was Total-e-lovely!! (I know, corny, but true :D)

Oh the angst!
So, the new (potential) novel, Truth and Beauty is sitting at just over 27,000 words.
I started out this project thinking -- I know, I'll write a fun story that will pull me out of this funk.
Well! It started off well -- best friends, lots of laughs, lots of UST. But now? OMG!! The angst!!
Give me a break, brain. -

Update
After a long, looooong, dry spell, I've started working on a new novel, working title: Truth and Beauty. It's an m/m romance (shock!) set in the UK, and is currently sitting at just over 21,000 words. I hope to have at least a first draft by the end of August. *fingers crossed*
Writer's block is a thing of true evil, I say!
