Jennifer's Easter Dress

I made this dress for my older niece for Easter.  I had originally bought a McCalls pattern.  Once I started cutting it out, I realized I really didn't care for it.  So, I went back to my Simplicity pattern, and just changed the top.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  The bodice was a bit harder than the others I've done because of the lining,

awww so very cute!!!! I should attempt to do that for my niece (not by easter of course) but just make her a dress her auntie made her.

My niece loved it :) She was even twirling in it. I'm excited for her to see the ones she's getting for her actual birthday.

Thanks :) I'll have to look for it. I should have just trusted my mom when she said "Don't bother with other patterns. Just use Simplicity." And really, they have been the best ones I've used :)
