I  wonder...
If I should apply to Teach for America.  It would be a great opportunity for me to earn my M.A. in Teaching and my certification at little cost to me AND be making a decent salary with yearly bonuses.  I would hope to be assigned to Baltimore which would give me cheap access to a degree at John Hopkins University which is AMAZING.

Hey Cassie,

I was just at a wedding this weekend with a girl who is teaching in Baltimore and having I think most of her expenses for her Masters at Johns Hopkins covered. She said it's tough and the kids are brats, but it money for her degree is worth it. Why not?? :)

And take it from someone whose family has yet to see her home...that SHE BOUGHT...it's not so bad, really. I get bitter sometimes but I can visit them when I want to see them. And I would not want to live in that area of Virginia for the life of me. It's a trade off.

It is something I'm really interested in. Baltimore, Connecticut, and New Orleans are all areas that sound like an amazing experience. I just don't know about Shawn. He's applying to jobs in Lexington and Cincinnati right now. I guess if he gets a good enough job offer we'll go there and I'll just head to Northern KY Uni, UK, or Cincy State. It's all up in the air right now.
