IUSE has a fast track to elementary teacher certification that I can do in ONE year PART TIME with no GRE scores.  AND my PRAXIS/PLT scores are still valid.  Holy crap. You bet your sweet giblets I'm applying to start this Spring.

I've lost nearly 14 lbs!  WOOOO HOO!  I am feeling good, and excited about the rest coming off.  yay :)

Can we do it?  YES WE CAN!  I am actually proud to be an American right now.  It's not something that I have experienced the past 8 years, but today is a new beginning.  Obama has the hopes and ideas and now the opportunity to help move this country forward.  Progression exists, and I am a part of it!

I am officially psyched.

I  wonder...
If I should apply to Teach for America.  It would be a great opportunity for me to earn my M.A. in Teaching and my certification at little cost to me AND be making a decent salary with yearly bonuses.  I would hope to be assigned to Baltimore which would give me cheap access to a degree at John Hopkins University which is AMAZING.
