So I haven't had a chance to really post yet, but I wanted to say City of Fallen Angels is now out - with a pub date of April 7th in the UK it should be out everywhere - and thanks so much to everyone who's emailed and tweeted and facebooked me with their thoughts. I've been on tour and met a bunch of wonderful fans (best T-shirt so far, explicable ( Read more... )

So: Will and/or Jem become Silent Brothers. True or false?

Also: would you be upset if I said that I now ship Jace/Jonathan more than I ever did Jace/Clary...? (I know [or assume] it will never pay off, ha.)

Don't get me wrong, Jace/Clary is lovely (and VERY sexy). There's just something delicious about the angel/demon dichotomy and blondness of J&J... >:}~

I adored the intricate plot and the way the different view points wove together to create the story. The character growth really added more layers of depth to the existing series and the increased focus on Simon's story was loved. The push/pull aspect of Jace and Clary's relationship was also really interesting to read as they go from passionate one scene to tortured in the next. I'll will never get enough Jace/Clary, haha.

The cliff hanger at the end is probably one of the cruellest in a book I've read yet and it makes everything just that much better. The anticipation for City of Lost Souls is tangible and it's over a year away! Heartbreaking.

Will there be more Magnus in the next book? I missed him and his witty commentary.

I don't want to be giving the ending away so *spoiler alert* for anyone reading this. I remember them saying that Jace had to die to kill Sebastian or Johnathan. Anyways if what is said about Simon being able to bring people back to life, Jace coul always die a second time right? To rid himself of the curse of being ine with John/Sebastian? Answer if you have any thoughts on this theory.

Simon can't bring back the dead. Sebastian wasn't entirely dead, that's the only reason it worked. Killing Sebastian would kill Jace, and Jace would be perma-dead.

CoFA was just absolutely amazing. This ending was beautifully painful and I'm salivating over City of Lost Souls already. Thank you for the awesomeness that is your writing.

Is all the stuff about lilth true or was that a character from the bible you altered? (I'm not religious, just curious.)

I haven't had the chance to read this but am I correct in assuming that this Lilith is the mythical Lilith that is a demon? If so I am even more excited! I did some research after reading the first three in TMI and after ready CA and I love that for the most part you stick to the actual mythology and don't change it so much that you create your own genre of the mythology for the story. I love it when a writer can write a fictional story that is, to a certain extent, "true."
