Thanks for this post! I'm an aspiring writer, and seeing how you feel about your characters, how you help them grow is a valuable piece of advice. :)

I have a question: will we ever heard from the dead Inquisitor again? Jace's grandmother?

I can't wait to see where you take Clary and Jace and the others next. Thank you so much for these great books!

I loved COFA! i love all the books TMI and ID! I didn't think Jace was truly happy at the end of COG and im really, really glad you continued the series! they are wonderful, heartwrenching, funny, sweet....i could go on forever! i love all the characters so much i feel like they are my best friends. im so glad we got to see more of simons pov! thank you for answering some questions! i cant wait for CP!

Jace was supposedly cut out of a corpse. Valentine was posing as Michael Wayland. But the silent brothers would have known better. How did Jace have the protections of the silent Brothers and Iron sisters from the first time he was born? And when, if at all, will we get more information on Jace's real mom? (I say real as in genetic. We can't exactly say birth mother can we.) She had to have a family didn't she?

She did, but they aren't very germane to the plot! Jace was protected as Clary was.

Thanks for answering our questions. I was wondering (if you could let me know that is)... you once said yo do not see Clary and Jace getting married. But you mentioned in City of Fallen Angels that the weddings for Shadowhunters are different and they even involve runes. It would be great to read about one (not necessarily Clary and Jace even though it would be ideal for fans). Thanks again ;)

Alec and Magnus could potentially get married but it could not be a shadowhunter wedding from my understanding. Only Shadowhunters can get runes (which is one of the reasons Luke & Jocelyn aren't having a traditional shadowhunter wedding even if they wanted to).
