Thank you so much for taking the time to write this very long and detailed post. It answered a lot of questions I had and a lot of questions I didn't have, but I'm really glad to know the answers to.

And by the way, the more you make Jace suffer, the more I like the boy. So despite his secretiveness & lying at the beginning, you pulled me to his side in this one. Upping the stakes usually does that. ;)

So I know you'll bring it again, hard, in CoLS. I can't wait. (Actually, I totally can because I get Will, Jem, and Tessa in the middle.)

Haha, I love that people are freaking out about the "happiness" level of your characters. The BEST stuff happens to people when there's strife, that's when true characteristics are brought to the forefront. So true, happiness is boring. XDD

I just want to thank you and Holly again for coming out to Vancouver (well, Burnaby is close enough :P). A bunch of my teen patrons (I'm a librarian) were there that night and they had so many wonderful things to say about you both and your books. We don't often get authors out here so it really is a treat for these kids.

We are all looking forward to the rest of all the series (Curseworkers, Infernal Devices, Mortal Instruments), and we hope we'll see you two out here again!!!

First of all, I really enjoyed CoFA!!! :D
You are so talented at writing! It was so good to be back in the TMI world, even though it sucked seeing Jace go through what he did. Poor Jace :(
But, erm, (and sorry I didn't ask this in time for the post; just finished reading) I'm really curious now whether Jace is a virgin or not.. ;)
Izzy said she didn't think he was, but I can't imagine Jace (how I interpret him, anyway) sleeping with, say, only one or two people before. That only leaves him being a 'bed hopper', which is actually quite disturbing. Almost as bad as the daisies xD
So will we ever really find out if Jace is a virgin? And if he's not, WHO?? o.O

I love Jace! He is like 99.9% of all my ideal guy. And when i read the earlier posts about Jace being a virgin or not, i was thinking about it and i think Jace is a virgin. I think he has gone.... far with girl's but not that far. We all know that Jace can be mysterious and charming and is smooth with girls so everyone just assumes he has done it because of his smoothness. And it is a tricky subject because he is so mysterious. And today i actually just finshed CoFA and i absolutely loved it. So i guess we are just going to have too wait till the next fabulous book! Great Job Cassandra!

I think it's awesome how as an author, you appreciate all your fans and try to answer our spectrum of never ending questions to the best that you can (since you're famous and everything).

I really am totally in sync with you here on the "without conflict there is no plot, without hope, there is no story" logic. You write about transcendence. About growth, development and movement from one position to a better position. I just feel that everyone's got their inertias and we don't like to experience the uncomfortable or difficult transformation. But hey, the best things rise from the ashes :)

So, i can't wait for COLS and COHF, i know you have an epic saga lined up for us!! And I have faith in you and in Jace and Clary :D

I also hope you feel better from the accident and take care of yourself! More than our characters being hurt in a book... we can't have our real life author being injured!!
