A Life Less Ordinary

I got back to school, after talking to Willow. I guess things in theory should be okay now. Avasa's stable again, and I got a flash off of a guy in the dorm, and it didn't near kill me, so I guess she was right. Something about building up an immunity or stabalizing each other...I'm not sure it sounded kind of technical to me and that's not really ( Read more... )

After everything with the party is winding down and I'm free to actually get out of the house again, one of the first places I want to stop by is Cassie and Cecile's dorm. Again. Yeah, I know, might sound kinda stalkerish but I just want to see if she's okay. Cassie, I mean. Not Cecile.

Last time I checked? Hiding under the bed was the new thing for her. Not a good habit to pick up. Hopefully she's better now. I find myself outside her door, knocking gently a few times.

I glance up, surprised to hear a knock, then get up to answer. Cecile's thankfully out, doing sorority stuff I guess. I'm happily avoiding that. I smile warmly when I see who's on the other side of the door. "Hi Wyatt." I say. "What's up?"

She looks better, not like she's ready to crawl back under her bed which is definitely good. "Just checking on you. I tend to worry, it gets the best of me and well...here I am." I say, returning the smile.

I blush, laughing lightly. "Well that's sweet of you." I say, and stand aside to let him come inside if he'd like. "I'm feeling better. It's been whole days since I've taken to hiding under the bed and everything." I move over to my bed and take the art pad off of it so there's a place to sit. I'd been working on a drawing. "How've you been? How was the party?"

I laugh at his wording. "Any way works. I'm not going to make you pose or anything. We can work it out after food and stuff. Thanks though, for agreeing. It'll probably be boring though, so you'll regret it later." I grin at him.

"Nah, no regrets. It'll be cool. I can watch you do...artsy things. Which I'm totally not good at. A learning experience even." I try, leaning forward and pulling myself to a standing position.

I get up too and stretch. "Mm. Watching me do artsy things...also boring. But it'll be greatly appreciated, and I'll...do something nice for you in thanks for putting up with it." I say with a smile. Then I bounce a little on my feet. "So where are we headed?"

I return the smile before thinking about food once again. "Hmm...there's the caf, but that's not exactly my favorite, so somewhere off campus would be better. Anywhere you like to go? I can usually eat anything." I tell her, walking over to the door of the room.
