New kitty!

For Christmas this year, I brought home a new cat! It was time, and this rescue sort of fell into my lap right when I was ready to start looking. She's really sweet and cuddly, but also still a bit hyper, so we're still in that learning phase. She's already litter trained, though, and loves her scratching post, so my furniture and everything are

For some bizarre reason the photos aren't loading all the way for me, but I bet she's gorgeous!

They wouldn't load for me before, but now they're popping right up. What a beautiful kitty! I had a calico with a face like that--she had a very long and happy life, and I hope the same for yours!

(One of my friends thought I should have named her Lokai or Bele, after the half-and-half-faced guys in the Classic Trek episode Let That Be Your Last Battlefield, but they were both kinda evil, so I'm glad I had already named her something else.)

Thanks! I keep trying to think of something fannish that would suit her, but so far nothing quite fits. My general indecisiveness on things like this doesn't help, but I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually.

She's adorable.

I just got back form me 3.5-week trip away from home and mine has been sooooooo cuddly, and it sounds like she broke her purr box. I love cats.

Aw, I love when they act so happy to see you. This one makes me laugh at night because she is absolutely determined to sit on top of me when I'm trying to get settled for bed. Even if I lie on my side, she'll clamber up there and balance on my hip. I love it.
