Also, I may actually be able to sit down and design a tat as I'm bed-ridden for three or four days. Long story. (One day, I won't lose my stapilos--the black pens I make the outlines with--and will actually get started when I want to!)
And by the way!!! I think that alter-ego-goddess you have in the works sounds AMAZING!!! That's such a cool/creative way to conquer issues and find inspiration I can't even freeging stand it!
Don't be afraid to work towards being a professional writer. Push through the fear on a daily basis because you are extremely talented and, truthfully, what's the worst that could happen if it doesn't work out?

I had a secret admirer when I was in high school. He wrote something in the school paper about his love for me. Of course, I was dating my future ex-husband so I didn't have the time of day for him. The last thing I heard about him was that he had died in a weird random accident shortly after HS. My exact reaction was "That's too bad, he used to love me."
Secret admirer's are not all they are cracked up to be. And as the object of admiration, sometimes we fall short ourselves.

2) I've had a beautiful black George Washburn acoustic for a little over ten years that I can play a handful of chords and songs on, but nothing else. I'd love to get better, but I find that my days just get away from me and my guitar still sits in the corner, beautiful but untouched.
