1. there's a particular bird in my neighborhood whose trademark chirp is a very human-sounding wolf whistle. no matter how many times i hear this, i always manage to amuse myself imagining that the bird is catcalling sexy people on the sidewalk. whenever i hear the wolf whistle after walking out the door, i look around
