What is it with "open relationships" and "open marriages?" Aren't those terms oxymorons?
In my observation, they aren't healthy - for any of the parties involved. In the ones I've observed happening, they destroy friendships & relationships & marriages.
So what's up?

musings on grief
It's amazing how grief can hit you at the most unexpected times and places. I walked into the grocery store yesterday and teared up. There - on a table - right inside the door - were flowering phalaenopsis orchids. There was a living reminder of my friend - just days before what would have been his birthday. Five weeks and counting to baby...
Yes - and there are days I wish it was sooner. This one is quite literally a pain in the a**. He's been head down for over a month now and keeps putting pressure on my tail bone and ocassionally my sciatic. *OUCH* This in addition to pushing ribs out just like his big brother did ( Read more... ) -
Just feeling icky
I know it's normal - but wow - at 32 weeks I feel as prego as I did 3-4 weeks later the first time around. As in I'm already sleeping on the couch part of most nights since my body temp is not mine to control and I just can't find a comfortable position. I can't sit *or* stand in one position long without being uncomfortable. This kid is doing ( Read more... )
