I was going to go to d.c. on tuesday, but recent events have changed those plans. Now instead of D.C. I will go to Lancaster tomorrow to plan my grandfather's funeral and help to pack up his apartment. My Mom isn't dealing well with the news and I can't blame her. Isn't it funny when we put a limit onto someone's life? How we can say they have 2 weeks to live? Or the life expectancy rate can be up to 12 years? My grandmother passed away last night. For the last week, our family has gathered around together watching her die. She took a turn for the worse last sunday. I saw her three times last week, but frankly she wasn't there anymore. She had been suffering for dementia for the past 4 years or so and slowly had forgotten everything around her.
