yay a job
I started my first day at legacy photo today. I'm there as a photographer and also a girl friday around the office. I don't mind the work and the money is good. I'm mostly doing school photography, graduations, proms, dances, etc. etc. Everyone seemed nice and extremely happy to have extra help around the office. I have a problem. I read way too many books. Librarians cower when I enter, the barnes and noble employees see their sales go way up when they spot me about to come into the store. There's a used bookstore in Lancaster that is extremely annoyed when I come in the door with a list of titles ( Read more... ) -
irony
I find it extremely ironic that i get offered a job when i leave the country. Tom and I are on the island in Canada until the 20th. I got the offer from Lifetouch today. It is decent pay for a corny job, but i desperatly need it so i won't complain.

god i'm flipping out
I so worried that the colors aren't right for the show tomorrow. And the gallery owner thinks i'm nuts for worrying, but i just hope it works out. -

So the gallery owner emailed me an hour or so ago and said although she cannot say for certain the local newspaper might be covering the show. Which I know may not happen, but i've been walking on air ever since. I spent way too much on the frames I'm using for the smaller pics and despite all the problems with the big ones, the show on friday ( Read more... ) -

Last saturday I went to a limited engagement exhibit called Our Body : The Universe Within at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg. It shows human bodies and organs on display.
