Yep, that was me! I finally returned to (surprisingly sunny) Berlin after about 11 years...quite a place. I'd forgotten how buzzing it is. And how odd the Germans can be - as well as how nice. It was errr interesting to hear and speak German again, funny how it does kind of come flooding back

I'd love to go to Germany, but I can't see it happening this year, although I was planning a long weekend, doesn't sound like it'd be enough anyway!

you should definitely go if you get a chance, even if it is only for a few days! It was a welcome change from the norm for me :) and somewhat of a nostalgia trip too...
