[ Cancer?'s Dream ]
Some stupid tinny music was playing. Over and over again, it overlapped itself as though it were echoing and kept repeating, relentlessly assaulting his ears. Maybe it was an evil music box--that's definitely what it sounded like. A music box from hell. Yeah.
He looked around, searching for the source of the annoyance but found nothing besides himself occupying the giant metallic fishbowl he was sitting in. Or maybe he was sitting at the bottom of the world's largest toilet. That could be it too.
The music stopped. A hushed footstep on metal alerted him to the person who had sneaked up behind him. He turned and looked up at the figure looming over him. And smirked.
"Hey. You're ugly."

First and foremost, Cancer? is not his real Edensphere name, though it is the name most commonly used in referring to him. He often introduces himself with a different name each time he meets someone new. So far, he has been known to introduce himself as:
Cancer? stands at 5'10" and appears malnourished; he often carries fruit covered in tinsel with him wherever he goes. Whether the fruit is real or plastic is up to debate. His clothing is nothing special--he, like many other Edensphere residents, seems to wear whatever he can get his hands on, but he does have a particularly new looking Rolex watch, constantly set to 9:32, the second hand stuck ticking back and forth between 44 and 59.
Fugue and Cancer? often seem at ends with one another--Fugue seems to despise Cancer? to the very core, though the younger only seems to think of the old man as someone to poke fun at. Cancer? does seem to know more about Edensphere, but most of what he says is completely useless. Sorting through to find the important stuff is a task not many are willing to attempt, but doing so might prove advantageous, granted one isn't lost in his senseless babbling.

Cancer? had been sneaking around in The Hall of Beginnings, a place usually off limits to him, and witnessed the birth of a cocoon. Mao/Kanaye's birth and his ability to read minds revealed a few things about Cancer?: First and foremost, Cancer? is actually a girl. Second, Cancer?'s true Edensphere name is 'Canon'--Cancer? was a name given to her by Fugue because of his association of her and 'diseases'. Her mind is cluttered and confusing, but some interesting things about Edensphere and Fugue can be uncovered.

After a few days of revolving dreams, Anne wrote in her journal something ominous. Not too long after, she disappeared.
