Pacific Coast Bike Trip

I have delusions of making it down to Irvine, CA (1200 miles) but am more realistically hoping for Santa Barbra (1000 miles). I did not know this.

Mostly, I can think of people I know in places where you probably already can find some people, such as SF and Santa Cruz, rather than, say, along the southern half of the Oregon Coast or similar places where you're less likely to already know people.

Ohhh we are actually looking for one or two possible contacts in the SF area. It's a good midway point in our trip so we were contemplating bouncing around there for a day or two. Shot me an email?
