Now this was a 50/50; not prepared as the first challenge but not as bad as I anticipated. It was definitely a 100% FUN! It’s finally here! The month of my first challenge: Tinker Bell Half Marathon. It also happens to be the 5th Anniversary of the event which is another added 5/10 year coincidence with Disney: 30th for Tokyo Disney, 60th for Disneyland, 15th for Tokyo DisneySea, and now 5th for Tinker Bell Half Marathon.

All I can say is wow… I really did it. I actually ran a half marathon and finished it without any injuries. Four months of tedious training and it really did pay off. Oh boy, this was the second thing (cherry blossoms being first) I was looking forward to this trip: Final Fantasy Eorzea Café. Now I’m not a big fan of Akihabara with the overwhelming decorations of anime but unfortunately like more themed cafés, Eorzea Café is located at the heart of it. Second day of our trip and the weather was chillier than we expected. We got up in the morning around 7AM and drank the complimentary coffee from the hotel so I’d stay awake and get use to the time change. Now I’m not much of a coffee person but this one needed.
