Yesterday I visited my parents in Moreno Valley and was planning to take them out since I didn’t give them anything for Christmas. Aside from having a hard time to come up with what to get them since they already have too much of everything (clothes, shoes, food, etc.), I then settled for taking them out instead. Finally! A 4-day break from work! Seriously the only break I ever had this year aside from the holiday and weekends was my sick leave; one on my previous job (from stressed) and another on my new job (mild case of irritated bowel syndrome). A couple of months ago when I was registering on a couple of 5K runs, the Color Run was the most I was looking forward to since the pictures looks so much fun. That is until I injured myself with runner’s knee a month prior to the event. Two weekends ago I felt so unstoppable that I pushed myself with a 30-mile cycling on Saturday (haven’t cycled in 3 months) and the following day I added 4.3 miles to my usual 3.5 miles jog (total of 7.8 miles) without walking or stopping.
