Well, capnlot and I are happy that we went out to dinner on Friday to celebrate. He headed out to the car this morning to go to fighter practice to find it GONE!! After much disbelief and shock and shaking, we are likely in the market to buy a new car. The police indicate that the likelihood it was taken for parts and stripped is good. I should

Oh, my! That is certainly an ... INTERESTING way to spend an anniversary!

I'm really sorry this happened to you - but hopefully, you will get enough from the insurance company to replace the car, and can get one that will serve you well :)

While it's not exactly the same - having the car die on the trip out here let us do a similar thing, and we're pretty happy with our new vehicle :)

Good luck! Hopefully this is the 'big surprise' that happens in the year, and that the rest will be calm and peaceful - unless you want more surprises, that is :)
