Today I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a card from my mom in my p.o. It says that she calls me not only her daughter, but also her friend... I love her, she is so sweet! I love my mommy, and I am not ashamed to say it

Cathy, this is Amanda. I just wanted to let you know how much I love you. You are a precious girl, and you have touched my life in so many ways. Remember to always look the HIM, for HE is the sustainer of life! This is one of my favorite verses:
Psalm 121:1-2
"I lift my eyes to the hills,where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."
God is going to be there for you, regardless of the difficulty of the situation you are going through. And your mom will also be there for you, she loves you like none other!
I know it is hard to live away from your friends in east, but God still gives you opportunities to see them. Keep up the positive attitude, and things will look better!
