Believe it or not, on friday I left the realm of 3rd year teachers and will begin the journey of a 4th year teacher! CRAZY. What a fast year it was. A good group of 20, who came so far.  Of course I have final semester projects to do, so I find myself back on LJ for a second. I am officially signed up for the Minneapolis Half Marathon on June 5th and need to get my butt in gear and start training better!

 Talked extensively with a coworker today about running and got the itch again. Took the puppy out when I got home, for 2 miles (maybe), but it felt good to get back out again (even in 18 degree weather..!). Here's to attempting to train again. Life just keeps on moving!

We've been to LOTS of weddings this fall of close friends and family and I'm sure many more in the near future. Currently I'm attempting to write my first semester final paper for grad school.  So apparently I never write on this thing anymore. Anyways, long story short, I'm a quarter through my 3rd year of teaching already! WOW! I have 20 this year, and a very sweet group. I'm busy as all getup with school and grad school (started that in August) and I have a new team this year, so I'm kept on my toes in all fronts of life.

Well, I clearly never update this. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL TOMORROW!

I have very mixed feelings. On one hand the much more lax schedule will be amazing, especially on my apartment cleaning abilities. BUT, I really do have some amazing kids this year and I am sad to see them grow up and move on :-(.

Did another 7.5 miler yesterday around 8:48 miles. Not too bad. Gotta do faster for the half, but it was windy, cold and a training run :-) Excuses, excuses. I have a coworker who ran 13.1 in my goal time just to see the other day... she rocks. I worry that once I have kids I won' t be able to run so much....  but, she is my inspiration. Going to Phoenix in about 4 weeks for spring break! I'm pretty sure it can not get here soon enough! 17 more days I do believe of school. I love my class, but we are at that point in the year where we are all hankerin for a long break. Hopefully we make it there intact! Well, I hit a quarter century yesterday! Oof, I feel old. My brother tried to make me feel even better by letting me know I was now halfway to 50.... awesome. Tony also tried to help with the moral by letting me know I was now closer to 30 than 20, excellent. hahaha
