It has been months since I posted, I still read regularly but my life has been such a muddle for the past 6 or so months that even trying to write it down was too much.

London again
Well we didn't pick the best day weather wise for going to the Globe, at some points you couldn't hear the actors over the rain but Much Ado was brilliant. So glad I went back to see it a second time after missing most of it the first time (no fainting this time!) so glad in fact that when I got home I booked tickets for M and I to see Doctor ( Read more... ) -

More theatre
Had a lovely day in London again today, and as a bonus only had to travel from Kent so no train or tube woes.
Saw Emperor and Galilean at the National Theatre. It felt very poignant watching a play about violent religious extremism that was written a hundred plus years ago by a Norwegian in the light of Friday's attacks in Oslo.

Best weekend ever?
I am shattered beyond belief but I might just have had the best weekend of my life ever so far. Well that might be a bit of hyperbole but it comes close.
Saturday
Met 2 friends, travelled to London. Had lunch at the BFI, saw Frankenstein at the National Theatre, ate ice cream wandering along the Southbank and then spent a couple of hours in a lovely ( Read more... ) -

Holidays, books and the census
Have just had a lovely week in Lanzarote with M. We did nothing but eat, sleep and read. 15 novels in 8 days isn't too excessive is it?
I missed all of the WBN activities but did manage (mostly) to read all 25 books by the end of March 5th full details here www.norfolkbookworm.blogspot.com.

Save the Library
Norfolk County Council haven't published final details of how they are going to save money under the new government yet but there is a history of library closures being taken VERY badly here. we think it will be a much better situation than in a lot of areas in the country, especially than in the 2 counties bordering Norfolk.
