Having since finished "How I Paid for College" by Marc Acito, I have begun to read/listen to "The Fourth Bear" by Jasper Fforde. This is his second NCD (Nursery Crime Division) book. Set the Stage
I found another great part in "How I Paid for College" by Marc Acito. It's all about the revelry and joys of a well done performance. Want to read it? It takes place during a performance of Godspell (our narrator is a high school senior playing Jesus, and this is his experience right after the betrayal scene when Judas kisses Jesus. ( Amazing text right here! ) -

So my latest book that I have been reading/listening to is "How I Paid for College" by Marc Acito. Great stuff. I'm feeling especially obsessed with technology this week. I'm all about watching G4tech TV's Attack of the Show, playing the newest video games, updating my iPod and my Mozilla FireFox browser (while also participating in a Guinness World Record!), as well as comparing the new 3G iPhone to Sprint's new Instinct. Much fun.

Unlucky?
Today is an infamous Friday the 13th! Supposedly it's an unlucky day, but I have to say that my day was excellent. It's cottonwood season here in Michigan and that means that the air is filled with floating white puff balls. It also means that it looks like there's snow on the deck and in the yard where all the seeds conglomerate in corners.

I did something spontaneous a few days ago and I am still reveling in its bliss. I bought tickets to go see that Nine Inch Nails concert when it comes to the Palace in August!!! Taking a Break From It All
A quick break in the midsts of my 10 page paper writing. It's not fantastic work, but I'm laying out all my ideas and quotes. It will be a very rough Rough Draft that I turn in tomorrow, but I have this issue with rough drafts; I don't work well with them - not at all. The Grimm's Fairy Tales are a fascinating thing to read. Just when you think you know the story, you find out its been modernized. Cinderella doesn't actually have a fairy godmother, did you know that? Oh, and the Prince in Sleeping Beauty didn't have to fight a dragon. In fact, he simply walked through a hedge of flowers.
