Finally, some pics of the new homestead. Looks nice, much wilderness, abandoned bits, creekwater, all the necessities of the modern life.

"My dad dropped the wrench in the wreath of flowers." - KODOS

That line is strong. A whole novel appeared in my head when I read it. It was like 1,000 pictures. Very, very good. Inspirational even.

Dude, email me your phone number.

The truly funny thing is that I could see this coming up in casual conversation. You know:
Damn this door is stuck
insert tag line
sorry your majesty

It does sound like something we all would say to our friends as they are leaving, huh?
"Hey, Rick, let go of the door knob and kneel down to the king!"
I need to start saying that more often. I suppose I should start a long list of Cody quotes. They are hi-larious.

I like the one about the shoelaces with "unknown markings" .... sounds all strange... I'm not exactly sure how I would feel about shoelaces with "unknown markings" .. :P

I know what you mean. That sentence is kinda creepy, like, someone has tampered with my shoelaces while I was on GHB and now I'm all paranoid that "they" are keeping tabs on me. And they are keeping tabs on me. I know it.

Are the markings on the shoelace, or on the knot itself. Does the whole shoelace have markings, or just the knotted part?
FarmerD and I both described how we envisioned the wrench dropping into the wreath of flowers. They were startlingly similar.

How the fuck should I know? Those shoelaces should be burned. Never trust shoelaces with unknown markings.
How did the wrench drop into the wreath of flowers? I must know.

/scene

A funeral wreath of small white flowers on grass. From the right side of the frame, a man's arm clothed in a blue plaid shirt, clutching a large bloody wrench. The hand opens, and the wrench falls in slow motion into the wreath. The wrench falls onto the snow-white blossoms, staining some of the shivering petals with blood.
