I am continuing on this novella. I finally found the 'voice' of the male MC, which helps.

It might look weird when put together - I have the prologue as a journal entry by the female MC (first person past tense); his voice is first person present, her voice is third past.

I'll finish it then decide if it works like that or I change one or the other :P

ha! :-D Do you know this story to the conclusion yet? How about if you concentrate on turning what you have into the requisit short story, and save the rest for later for a full novella?

I know the ending - for once in my writer's life a HEA. Not totally ideal for everyone, but a happy compromise.

I tried to keep it short, I tried to cut it and to skip whole sections, and somehow end up writing more.

And now with 25.5K words written I will be on the big side of novella or the small side of novel.

*Sigh*

But I am having fun.
