Congrats! That is fantastic.
When people ask me how I lost weight I tell them, eat better and exercise more and they either don't believe me, or think it's too difficult. Silliness.

I do think some of the additional "advice" that you askew can be handy in helping with the primary mechanism. Eating less meat, more beans and veggies and whole grains instead of processed carbs actually increases your fiber, making you feel fuller longer and helping you eat less.

Not arguing, you found something that works for you and that's the most importaant thing.... just adding my own thought to the mix.

Dude congrats. You sound like I did a few years ago when I lost all my weight (in no small part due to the food diary I kept - the paper version of your app of course). And hey, this may be the kick in my ass I need to get back on the proverbial treadmill and lose some weight again ( ... )
