Do you hate getting catalogs as much as I do? Seriously, I know what they carry at Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Toys R us, J Jill, Eddie Bauer and most other major stores. And it's strikingly similar to what they carried last year. I don't think I've EVER ordered ANYTHING from a catalog and if they keep multiplying Tim may put his back out ( Read more... ) -

Freecycle is a simple service. It puts people who have stuff they don't want, in touch with, people who want stuff they don't have. One of the simplest things I have done to help the environment is to use cloth napkins. I bought a bunch very cheaply while working at Crate & Barrel and then got more as wedding gifts however, if you can sew at all, they may be the easiest sewing project ever. Sometimes it's easy being green
Well, it was a great weekend for green thinking in the Porter household. Not much action, but lots of great planning.
