another eco-post

Freecycle is a simple service.  It puts people who have stuff they don't want, in touch with, people who want stuff they don't have.  I joined a little over a year ago, mainly because I love free stuff but trolling the free section on Craigslist was getting boring.  You may have heard of them before, but chances are you have a few ( Read more... )

I've belonged to the Nassau County Freecycle List for a while. I get approx. 4 or 5 digests a day. We are trying to de-stuff so I mostly skim for the Wanted's in case someone needs something I can give away.

I am trying to try and de-stuff. I want to have less stuff... but I love my STUFF! I realize this gave my freecycle writeup a bit of a slant.

I'm glad you're finding it useful. I'm addicted.

Trying to destuff does not mean that I am successful, most of the time. But the least I can do is try not to add to the clutter.

Hey, I guess this is the most recent entry I can see, but it's in response to recent events... I wanted to say congratulations :) I'm so happy for you guys! How exciting. It works out pretty well that you have friends with kids who you can probably scrounge hand-me-downs off of... just think of all the cute Zoey clothes you can steal from Ruthie and Alex if you guys have a girl... haha ( ... )
