Lo, it takes 10 hours for the ice to melt. The duct is no longer blocked and the fan can once again move air. Normally I keep my house warm-but-not-humid, and this doesn't put much load on the a/c plant -- about 2 hours in the morning and 3-4 in the later evening. Something in the pattern went kinda wrong yesterday, which surfaced the problem. ( Read more... )

Super Engineer! See, this is why knowing stuff is good. Technician dude is going to have a much harder time messing with your bill. Of course, you'll have the uproad battle of convincing them you know what you're talking about...

Yeah, the pitch of my voice is hard to hear when I use technical words, and the chesticles are distracting, too.
