  As a person who has been blind since birth, I have countless examples of a back that gets bent, but does not break. It gets quite a bit of riding, but straightens up again, only to repeat the entire process again and again ad nauseam. It is a large part of what life is made of if you are a woman with a disability. Thanks. I'm glad I was able to do that too. It's not always easy to continue doing that, but sometimes, it's worth it. Unfortunately, I was better at that in my youth than I am now. Thanks for reading.

First of all, GRRRR on all the people who think that your blindness somehow disqualifies you from doing a job well. Second, GO YOU for being awesome and being able to advocate for yourself. It makes me cry (in a good way) because I've been struggling for years with how to advocate for myself and my son, and it can me so difficult, and seeing someone else do it just makes me happy. I could also be hormonal, but... yeah.

Also, those two phone situations were hilarious (even if they weren't at the time).

Sometimes the things that cause the most humiliation at the time make the best laughs later and they just keep bringing laughter. Thanks for reading. I do know how very hard it is to advocate for oneself. I was much better at it when I was in my early twenties.
