I’ve been typing up some old rehearsal notes today. There are some notes that I don’t understand anymore, but by far the most befuddling is this:
“like a prayer…?”
What the hell was that supposed to mean? Was somebody reading their lines like Madonna?

Am I broken?
All of a sudden, I find that I'm often writing “it's” when I mean to write the possessive “its”. A common error, to be sure, but it's one that I never used to make. Am I going senile?

Amaterasu at first tried to excuse her brother's destructive behavior. But then Susanoo broke open a house in which women were weaving garments and threw a flayed horse among them. One woman was so shocked at this that she struck herself in the genitals [with a shuttle] and killed herself.

I'm sure that by now a number of you will at least have heard of Google Maps Street View. Not content with merely offering maps and aerial images of the U.S., Google has hired vans to drive around and take photos of roads and what's around them.
