Does anaesthesia interfere with magic? Or vice versa? I don't have my textbooks anymore, but I don't think we covered that in any lessons anyway.

I'm no expert, but I imagine at least certain types of anaesthesia would. Like when your mouth is numbed so Healers can look at your teeth. It would make it hard to pronounce spells properly for a bit and that would interfere.
