i dont know why its just in the last few years
that ive been observing advent.

i suppose much of that is up to upbringing
but
its a shame to have missed it all these years.

this time last year
emerson went to the emergency room
because
she decided drinking a bottle of cold medicine was a good idea
(childproof caps i think not... she was 1 1/2)

this week
she got her first cast (hot pink)
because
she fractured her elbow after taking a nosedive out of a shopping cart.

i see a pattern forming

with the guys.

kinda reminds me of boyscouts.
but
those were always the best camping trips.
ever.

so i hope it turns out to be a time
worth remembering.
