Sleep Part I

I've been meaning to write about this for a while, but never really go around to it. It usually crosses my mind whenever I'm with someone, and they nod off and fall asleep against any will of their own. It seems normal in the sense that sleeping can be very ritualistic. And if you've ever had problems sleeping (which you have), sometimes it feels like you need to follow the ingredients to a tee before it will all turn out right. Having not had any trouble sleeping for the last year and a half or so (coincidence?), I've become spoiled and I don't follow any formula in order to achieve sleep.

I think what you must be wondering is if your rituals are unreasonable. That's more of a personal question to ask yourself. The bed and the fan seem reasonable - I have those myself. Clothes, sleeping position, and pillows are a preference. I'd like a minimum of four pillows, but I'm more than happy to have more. The pillow noise could be a problem. Ear plugs make it worse. :-\ My bed is all creeky because I jumped on it too much when I was younger too.
