We've had a beautiful day - hot (95 F) but not humid, which is unusual for this time of year but very welcome. There was a very pleasant breeze and I sat on the porch and read during my lunch break. (I wouldn't have done if it weren't shaded, but the roof overhangs it so I enjoyed it. I wouldn't have been sitting on the back porch which is a deck

Our minister fancies an outdoor service but somehow we never get around to it. But yours looks as if it was really nice.

It was such good weather for it. We had it at 5 in the evening, rather than our usual 9:30 in the morning. If it had been humid or if there hadn't been shade, I'd have been miserable (the official high temperature of the day was 99 F) but with the low humidity, the shade, and the breeze it was very pleasant.

It really was nice. We had it at 5 p.m. instead of our usual 9:30 a.m. Even though it was very hot (the official high was 99 F!) there was shade, a breeze, and hardly any humidity so it was very pleasant. (The humidity is rare this time of year! Sometimes it just not nice to go outside in the summer.)
