Happy Summer!
We've had a beautiful day - hot (95 F) but not humid, which is unusual for this time of year but very welcome. There was a very pleasant breeze and I sat on the porch and read during my lunch break. An Observation
Not only is my mental and physical health better working from home every day, my work days are less stressful, and I actually communicate more with my other team members. We woukd Skype and email as needed before WFH (I was never in the same office as any of them and only in the same state as two of them) but since we went to permanent WFH, our ( Read more... ) -
Just Some Random Stuff
Irish went to the grocery store a while ago to pick up some deli stuff for lunch and brought back no sugar added Klondike Bars. I can sing the jingle ("What would you dooo-ooo-ooo for a Klondike Bar?") but I don't think I've ever had one. Hindsight - Better that 20/20
Diana, Princess of Wales, was almost exactly 2 years older than me (I was born June 27, 1963 and she was born July 1, 1961), just 3 1/2 months older than my best friend. Spring?
I saw a robin a short while ago! First sign of spring!
(Although not always accurate - someone at church saw one last month and posted a photo of it, but we had snow at least once after that. Also, snow predicted for tomorrow and Saturday. But it's a start!) -
St. David's Day
It's March 1st already! It's warming up and the snow's gone - for now, anyway - but it'll be a good month before we have daffodils. A few years ago I made this little pin, which I wore today. I didn't go anywhere but I wore it!
