Star Trek Stuff
It's crazy busy but I had to stop and do a drive-by posting just to say that I have a Star Trek documentary (For the Love of Spock) playing in the background and while listening to it, it struck me that the older I get, the more I love Dr. McCoy.

Not Sure It's Really Fall Yet....
It's been a pretty mild October so far (I'm not complaining!). We've had only 3 nights below 50 F (10 C) this year and those were the last 3 nights. They ranged from 43 to 48 degrees (6.1 to 8.8) and we've had no frost at all. The only real down side to that is not a lot of color change yet, either. What a Month!
I know October's only halfway through but this week alone has felt like it's a month long. It's been crazy busy at work, which in one way is good because the individual days pass really quickly but in another way it's not so good because at the end of the day we're all extra tired and feeling a little brain dead, and though the each day goes ( Read more... ) -
September Prompts and a Cat
I posted a photo of our little Lucy cat recently (she really is a small cat). This is our Lucky cat. He's much bigger than Lucy but several years younger. We adopted him from Pet Rescue when he was six months old. They named him Ian but that didn't suit him at all! Irish named him Lucky.

Weird Thoughts (That Annoy my Husband)
Yesterday I got to wondering if vampires lack a reflection because mirrors are backed with silver and if that's the case, would they be reflected in, say, a bronze mirror? A Bit of Miscellany
This year I'm doing cross-stitch and crochet things for Christmas presents. I didn't really get started until August and that was at least a month late, so when I saw this subject line in my inbox today: "Christmas crafting starts now!" I laughed out loud.
