Pleasant day today outside - sunny, not too hot or too cold. Not a bad day at work - it could be a little busier but we've had several days of being swamped and getting just weird work requests, and I never complain about a slower day. How much bigger than normal does an animal have to be to be truly frightening? Not normal scary, like "Oh, there's a bear! I want to get away from here ASAP without attracting it's attention," but "I don't think that's natural and it might even be a demon or something," about to descend into panic frightening. When we lived in Texas, the only time we had The Old Rugged Cross as a congregational hymn was when my dad was the song leader and I requested it. We went for a drive on July 3. I picked a road I've never followed past a certain point and just drove and ended up seeing an old, abandoned schoolhouse sitting in a field at a corner of a crossroads.
